I am a wedding photographer from the Mornington Peninsula just south of Melbourne, and I live with my husband in a little house by the bay. I started taking photos when I was 13 and I've never really stopped. I photographed my first wedding when I was 19 years old. That was 11 years ago, so you do the math on that one. My perfect day would be spent doing something outside in the sunshine, finished off with a crisp white wine in hand whilst yapping with my mates.
I love a good wedding, and I appreciate the responsibility of capturing your memories for the generations to come.

APPROACH
1. Initial contact and pricing information
2. If you wish to move forward we can schedule a zoom call to meet and discuss your plans
3. Read over and sign the contract, then a 25% deposit is put down to secure your booking
Closer to the Wedding Day
4. Fill in the questionnaire once the finer details and timeline have been decided
5. I’ll visit your venue prior to the day to find the perfect portrait locations
6. One final zoom to discuss the day now that all the details are locked in

My approach to a wedding day is to try to capture how it feels to be there. To look for authentic moments between you and your loved ones. Providing guidance when needed, but mostly by capturing the day as it unfolds naturally. Weddings can be about traditions, family and culture. They can also be about breaking from the norm and doing whatever you want.

Pricing starts at $3,000 for 5 hours and goes up by $500 for each additional hour.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Do you travel for weddings? Yes! I love to travel for weddings. If you're getting married within 50km of Rosebud, Victoria there a no travel fees. If your wedding is a little further away I can offer a personalised travel quote.
How do we receive our photos/content? I deliver everything via Pic-Time, an online gallery were you will have access to downloads of the highest quality. You can share your images with friends and family and you can also order prints and albums.
Can we print our photos? Absolutely. In fact, I really hope you do! You can order prints directly through your Pic-Time Gallery or you can take care of it yourself.
How do you handle bad weather? Plan and Prepare. My hope is that your planner/venue have created a wet weather option incase your day doesn't bring the weather you'd hoped for. We can chat about this plan prior to the wedding to optimise the photo opportunities. Bad weather doesn't worry me though, some of the best days come with a little rain!
What's one thing couples often forget to plan for? Someone to assist in co-ordinating the day. I have found that without a timekeeper (a wedding planner, or co-ordinater) couples can rely heavily on their vendors to remind them of timelines and to keep the day flowing. This unfortunately takes them away from the job they've been hired to do. It's best to assign someone whose designated roll is to make sure the day runs smoothly. You want your photographer/videographer/content creator focused on you. Not on co-ordinating your guests and looking for uncle Pete who's disappeared from family photos.
What's your best piece of advice? Don't plan a photoshoot, plan a celebration. Think about how you want the day to feel. Allow yourself to dream about your ideal day. Then plan that. I promise you the photos will shine if you're truly having a great time.
How can we make our timeline less stressful? Let's schedule a video call to chat about it. I have plenty of ideas on how to keep things stress free.
Film or digital? My galleries are mostly digital images but I also bring my film cameras to sprinkle some film throughout the gallery. We can chat about this prior to your day and you can tell me your preferences.
How do you make people feel comfortable in front of the camera? I encourage you to be yourself. I approach a wedding as a significant event in your life, I'm lucky enough to be there to create some tangible keepsakes for you. I'm not there to direct a huge photoshoot or make you feel pressured into posing or looking a certain way. It's about being present. Feeling the love all around you. There's no pressure or judgement on my end.
